This is 'part two' of Veena & Joel's (aka chicken & honey) romantic destination wedding retreat. 50 of their favourite and closest friends & family were invited to travel from Sydney and across the world to help celebrate this couple's undeniable love for each other. You don't need to spend very long with these two, to realise how much they mean to each other & their love is so painfully real.

I must say there is nothing I like more then photographing a wedding overseas. Destination weddings for me are the crem-de-la-crem of jobs for me as a wedding photographer.

And what an incredible trip this was to such a magical location on the southern tip of Kho Phi Phi Island, Thailand. After the ceremony we all jumped on a boat and went across to Bamboo / Bond Island for the family, the bridal party and the couple's wedding photographs.

Having photographed Joel's eldest brother Kye's wedding in England 2 years ago and having known Joel for over 10 years now, I felt very honoured to be asked to photograph this special day for him and Veena. Veena who I had also meet years ago while studying a creative fine arts course in 2004.
